healthy life hack: chocolate protein mug cake!

Yeah, eating healthy all the time is hard… but eating chocolate protein mug cake sure isn’t! This is one of my absolute favorite desserts for when I am craaaaaving chocolate (which happens frequently)!

Ingredients

  • chocolate shakeology (or protein powder)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp peanut butter

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients, except for peanut butter, in a microwave safe mug until batter starts to form
  • Add in a teaspoon of peanut butter and push it down inside the middle of the batter
  • Microwave for 90 seconds
  • Enjoy!
